If you live and vote in your community, chances are you qualify to volunteer as a poll worker.

Towns and cities need poll workers to ensure proper and orderly voting at polling stations. Each year, millions of Americans across the country sign up to participate in our elections by volunteering at the polls on Election Day.

What to expect

  • A single, day-long commitment

  • Duties vary, but could include:

    • Being a greeter

    • Checking folks in

    • Hand out sticker

    • Your moderator will explain responsibilities ahead of time
