Did you know that your employer could increase your impact by matching donations? If you’d like to initiate the corporate gift matching process follow these easy steps:

1. Confirm with your employer’s human resources department that they offer corporate gift matching.

2. Obtain a corporate gift matching form from your employer. Generally, these can be found on the company website or through HR.

3. Fill in the employee section of the form and send it to The Forward Foundation, along with your donation. If you have already made your contribution, send the form to the address below or email it to patience@forwardnh.org

An option that lowers the tax burden associated with your retirement account.

If you are an individual that is 70½ or older, you can donate up to $100,000 from your IRA, or other retirement accounts, directly to The Forward Foundation without having to pay income taxes on the amount of your donation.

This is a popular gift option that is commonly referred to as an IRA charitable rollover or a qualified charitable distribution (QCD) which combines your required minimum distribution with an significant tax advantage.

The Forward Foundation is creating a movement that spans generations and a planned gift could change the future of New Hampshire.

Did you know you could make a gift to The Forward Foundation, or our sister organization 603 Forward, through your will or estate plan? This could be a chance to make a sizable gift without having to reduce your current assets or income. Your planned contribution would go directly to building a stronger future for working-age Granite Staters who are struggling with unprecedented times.

To initiate this process you would need to outline a bequest that identifies the organization. There are several forms of bequests, including a specific bequest, a percentage bequest, a residuary bequest, and a contingent bequest. All bequests, no matter the form, are greatly appreciated and we would be incredibly honored to receive one, no matter the amount. An example of a bequest would be:

“I give and bequeath to The Forward Foundation, a non-profit corporation, Tax ID number 88-0808418, with offices at PO Box 676 Concord, NH 03302, the sum of $_____ to be used for the general purposes of the organization.”
